One dark and tempestuous night  I was lying on my bed, reading a book. Moments later I could hear sounds coming from the corner of my room. “scratch…. scratch…. scratch…...”

I could hear the sound of a scratching noise. I was scared, I looked around my room and saw a human like figure on top of my ceiling. I was frightened. I then curled up into a ball and pulled my blanket over to cover my face. I peeked over to see if it was still there. I couldn't see anything. I heard the same sound but louder. Then there it was, just standing right next to my bed staring directly at me.

I quickly ran out of my room to see where my parents were,  but my parent weren’t in the house. Then I could feel the presence of someone behind me.

“I found you” said the shadow. Then it grabbed me by the shoulder and pulled me to the ground.

Then suddenly I woke up in my bedroom. it was all just a scary dream.

It was a really scary experience for a dream

I recommend this story for ages 10-100.

Today on the 26th of September, The police force came with a Police dog.

We learnt a lot of interesting facts about what it takes to train a police dog. Collins (The dog handler) told us that the police force breads there own dogs. The Dogs fly on a air plane from Wellington all the way to Auckland. Then they get trained for 1 year. So there ready to be a Police Dog.

Then Collins showed us different tricks with the dog. But my favourite trick was when Grant
(Dog handler) Put on a sleeve and then ran and the dog chased him and took a big bite on his arm.

Kase was 39 Kg and he could run 65 km/hour he was really funny and a smart dog. I really enjoyed the police dog coming and i wont forget this amazing experience.

Today in Room 8 we were given each a small pack of M&Ms we were learning to find fractions of a number of a set

This is a 1/5 of 15 M&M's, which is 3.

This is a 1/8 of 16 which is 2.

In this picture there was 15 altogether. 3/15 or 1/5 were red 2/15 were orange 5/15 or 1/3 were blue 4/15 were green and 1/15 are yellow.

Grease by Auckland Girls Grammar School

On Tuesday Glenbrae school and other schools around Auckland was invited to Auckland girls grammar for a play. Grease is a musical play. There was two groups of cool kids one was the T-Birds and the other was the pink ladies. The main characters where Danny and Sandy.

My favourite part of the musical was when they showed the crowd Grease lighting and started singing the main song grease lighting. I liked the play because it was multicultural and it was really fun to watch. Id recommend you to watch the play because I'm sure there will be a lot of people that will enjoy the musical.

I would give the play 5 stars!
